The unique iconographic approach of the recently renovated Byzantine Museum of Argolis promises a fascinating tour of Argos’ rich archaeological heritage.
Fragments of ceramic vessels, sculptures and murals recover their long-lost wholeness, suspended over designs that either represent the object in its original form, or highlight the use and functionality of the exhibits.
The Byzantine Museum of Argolis is housed in the Kapodistrias’ Barracks, a listed historical building complex in the town centre.
