In perfect harmony with the 19th century Ottoman mosque that houses it, the exhibition of the Byzantine Museum of Chios includes exhibits from the Early Christian period to modern times.
The finds are organized in a way that highlights the relationships and interaction between the different groups of people that lived on the island.
Among others, you’ll have the chance to see sculptures and wooden carved objects, examples of folk and miniature art, icons and wall paintings.
