Surrounded by a sea of olive trees, the whole of Monastiraki is a living monument, preserving traces of bygone life and culture through the centuries.
Traversing space and time, visitors encounter monuments from various historical periods: from the palatial center at Kokkinos Charakas (1900-1700 BC) to ruins from the Hellenistic period, and from the Byzantine churches to the village of the same name, which has been declared a traditional settlement.
